At Greystone Design, we transform ordinary items into cherished keepsakes through the art of personalized engraving. Established in 2022, we have been dedicated to crafting unique and meaningful pieces that celebrate life’s special moments.
Originally from Rhode Island and now residing in Connecticut, I embarked on a journey to add a personalized touch to my woodworking projects and discovered the vast potential of laser engraving. Enthusiastically diving into this new craft, I quickly realized the endless possibilities it offered. In 2022, I launched my business with a single laser engraver and a multitude of ideas, operating out of my garage.
My initial focus was on wooden products, including coasters, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, and small signs. Over time, we expanded our offerings to include custom “patch” hats, slate products, drinkware, and leatherette gifts. Additionally, we have ventured into sand carving on glass, creating unique drinkware and awards.
As 2024 progresses, we are excited to introduce our latest laser engraver, which enhances our speed, expands our capabilities, and boosts our production capacity. We have also relocated our operations to a new, dust-free, climate-controlled workshop to ensure efficiency and superior quality. Our newly established website further supports our growth and outreach.
We collaborate with multiple product suppliers to guarantee quality and value, continuously seeking new opportunities. Customer-sourced products are subject to approval to ensure their suitability for our processes.

What is Stay True?
Stay True was born from a period of profound personal reflection and transformation. In the wake of unexpected career changes just before the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself with ample time for introspection. I contemplated my past choices, my identity, my aspirations, and my future direction. Through this journey, I identified a fundamental principle that had both shaped my past and illuminated my path forward: to Stay True.
To Stay True means remaining faithful to oneself, one’s family, values, beliefs, ideas, and dreams. It’s a reminder to be authentic, to chart your own course, to pursue your dreams, and to avoid becoming something or someone you are not. This concept may resonate differently with everyone, but its core message is universal.
Inspired by this realization, we are proud to introduce the “Stay True” brand of gear on our website. Stay tuned as we continue to expand our product line, offering new items that help spread the message to “Stay True.”
